A leading global resources company in Vancouver is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to ensure accurate financial reporting and support the North American business units. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and over 5 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include preparing cashflow forecasts, conducting financial analysis, and liaising with auditors. Competitive salary ranging from $90K to $120K and benefits package included.
Sedgman is currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Vancouver, B.C. office location.
The Finance Business Partner (or Finance BP) is the key finance contact within the North American business units (BU) to ensure accurate and timely month end budgeting and forecast reporting. He / She will play a key role in developing, implementing and analysing the reporting activities of the BU.
This is a hands‑on, stand‑alone role that provides the required financial and systems support to the Business Units in North America. The incumbent will be able to identify new opportunities through their financial leadership and provide leading and innovative solutions focused on value.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Commerce
Professional designation - CA/CPA qualified or studying towards a qualification.
Must have 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial / management accounting roles within a large corporate environment (preferably in Professional Services)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Advanced excel modelling skills;
Problem solving and analytical skills;
Ability to prioritise and control workload arising from a broad user base.
Experience working with large ERP’s.
Will be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
