Directeur en planification des transports et en maintien de la circulation

Afin de soutenir sa forte croissance au Québec, Parsons est actuellement à la recherche active de plusieurs candidats en infrastructures de transports incluant des ingénieurs et des techniciens en génie routier et génie municipal, en maintien de la circulation et planification des transports, ainsi qu’en ouvrages d’art.

  • Réfection majeure du pont-tunnel Louis-H.-La Fontaine etdestunnelsVille-MarieetViger;
  • Conception de aménagements temporaires pour la reconstruction du pont de l’Île-aux-Tourtes;
  • Construction du nouveau pont au-dessus de la rivière des Trois-Pistoles;
  • Extension de l’autoroute 401 (Ontario);
  • Construction du pont international Gordie-Howe (Ontario), à titre d’ingénieur du propriétaire;
  • Construction du nouveau pont au-dessus de la rivière des Trois-Pistoles;
  • Plusieurs autres projets en mode alternatif à venir en 2025 au Québec et au Canada où Parsons a agi à titre de concepteur en chef, d’ingénieur du propriétaire ou de certificateur indépendant.

Idéalement, vous avez :

  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie;
  • Membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
  • Au moins 15 ans d’expérienceen planification des transports;
  • Au moins 10 ans d'expérience en gestion ou coordination d’équipe de travail;
  • De bonnes connaissances en conception de projets en gestion de la circulation et maintien de la mobilité;
  • De fortes aptitudes en développement des affaires ainsi qu’un réseau de contacts dans le domaine des transports au Québec;
  • Maîtrise des normesdu MTMD;
  • Bonne connaissancecapacité organisation et maitrise des outils de planification en transport et des logiciels en gestion de la circulation (ex. : SimTraffic, Synchro, VISSIM, AutoTURN, etc.);
  • Expérience en conception pour projets du ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable, des sociétés de transport collectif et du marché municipal;
  • Connaissancedes normes de l’Association des transports du Canada (ATC)(atout).
  • Excellentes habiletés de communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

En plusde participeractivement à la conception d’études diverses et de plans et devis dans le cadre de différents mandats, vous serez aussi appelé à agir à titre de chargé de projets. Vouspourreznotamment :

  • Superviser et planifier les activités des équipes de gestion de la circulation et de la planification des transports et assurer leur croissance;
  • Coordonner la planification et l’exécution des projets au niveau fonctionnel et technique;
  • Assurer à titre de responsable d’expertise l’encadrement technique ainsi que la gestion d’équipes de travail dans le cadre de projets réalisés en mode alternatif ou conventionnel;Participer à la rédaction d’offres de services et de plans de travail;
  • Participer à la réflexion stratégique et à la préparation des budgets du groupe;
  • Soutenirle développement et l’applicationdes processus d’exécution d’ingénierieet de qualiténécessaires aux projets;
  • Participer au coaching etaudéveloppement dela relèvesuivantvotredomaine d’expertise;
  • Participer active au développement des affaires et au maintien des relations d'affaires avec nos collaborateurs et clients.

La connaissance du français est requise pour les postes situés en permanence au Québec afin que le titulaire puisse communiquer au besoin avec ses collègues et partenaires au Québec.

Autre exigence linguistique

La maîtrise de l’anglais est requise pour ce poste afin de communiquer avec les collègues, les clients et les partenaires (ou fournisseurs) situés à l’extérieur du Québec, et de comprendre la documentation technique et scientifique disponible dans notre industrie.

Maintenance of Traffic and Mobility Planning Manager

To support its strong growth in Quebec, Parsons is currently actively seeking several candidates in transportation infrastructure, including engineers and technicians in road and municipal engineering, traffic maintenance and transportation planning, and engineering structures.

Some key projects:

  • Project to improve Autoroute 30 between Boucherville and Brossard;

  • Several other alternative-mode projects are planned for 2025 in Quebec and Canada, where Parsons has acted as lead designer, owner's engineer or independent certifier.

Ideally, you have :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering;
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
  • At least 15 years' experience in transportation planning;
  • At least 10 years' experience in team management or coordination;
  • Good knowledge of project design in traffic management and mobility maintenance;
  • Strong business development skills and a network of contacts in the Quebec transportation industry;
  • Mastery of MTMD standards;
  • Good organizational skills and mastery of transportation planning tools and traffic management software (e.g. SimTraffic, Synchro, VISSIM, AutoTURN, etc.);
  • Design on projects for the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable, public transit authorities and the municipal market;
  • Knowledge of Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) standards (asset).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

In addition to actively participating in the design of various studies, plans and specifications for different mandates, you will also be called upon to act as a project manager. In particular, you will :

  • Supervise and plan the activities of the traffic management and transportation planning teams, and ensure their growth;
  • Coordinate project planning and execution at functional and technical levels
  • Provide technical supervision and manage work teams for projects carried out using alternative or conventional methods;Participate in the drafting of service offers and work plans
  • Participate in strategic thinking and the preparation of Group budgets;
  • Support the development and application of engineering execution and quality processes required for projects;
  • Participate in the coaching and development of the next generation in your area of expertise;
  • Play an active role in business development and in maintaining business relations with our employees and customers.

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec, so that the incumbent can communicate as needed with colleagues and partners in Quebec.

Other language requirements

Fluency in English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, customers and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec, and to understand the technical and scientific documentation available in our industry.
