Job summary
A medical cannabis clinic is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join their interdisciplinary team. The role requires providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to patients, especially veterans. Candidates must have a PhD or PSY.D. in Psychology and be registered with the relevant College. The position offers part-time work with potential for full-time. Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and support to patients.

The Opportunity
We are excited to expand our mental health platform and are searching for an enthusiastic and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our highly effective interdisciplinary team. You must be licensed to practice in either British Columbia, New Brunswick or Quebec.
Through our published research study on cannabinoids for the management of chronic pain beginning in 2015, patients following Apollo's treatment plan reported 43% less pain and those using opioids halved their dose on average of 26mg/day to 13mg/day in the first month. The study also reported a significant improvement in their mental health.

Responsibilities
Provide efficient assessment, diagnosis, therapy and support to our patients, Veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces
Provide consultation with service providers and collaborate with our existing Psychologists may be required
Psychological case managements input, recommendations to the interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, psycho-social barriers, and conflict management
Other duties as assigned.
Experience
PhD. or PSY.D. in Psychology
Current registration with the College in either British Columbia, New Brunswick or Quebec
Experience in the field of health psychology
Experience with veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families would be an asset and the ability to establish a positive rapport
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively adapt to changing schedules and priorities
Comfortable with providing support via virtual tools including video and telephone
