Qualifications

  • Fully Registered Psychologist w/ formal/psychodiagnostic assessment competencies.
  • 2 yrs. of clinical experience working with adult populations on return-to-work preferred.
  • Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual treatment for conditions including anxiety, trauma, and depression.
  • Consult with other mental health service team members.
  • Contribute to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions.

Skills

Formal assessment competencies
Client-centered biopsychosocial approach
Proficiency in French

Education

Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
Current registration in good standing with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology
