Job summary
A leading technology company is seeking a Bilingual Collection Representative for a 12-month contract in Brampton, Canada. The role involves liaising with business customers to collect outstanding invoices and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues. Successful candidates will have post-secondary education, bilingual proficiency in French and English, and a minimum of one year experience in collections. Reporting to the Sr. Credit Manager, your will be responsible for collection of accounts receivable in a Business-to-Business setting and ensuring order review and release within corporate guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Business customers to collect outstanding invoiced receivables and address inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with internal business units to resolve outstanding receivables
- Review and release merchandise, parts, and repair orders within company guidelines
To Succeed, You Will Need:
- Post-Secondary education
- Minimum 1 year experience in collections, preferably in a Business-to-Business environment
- Strong time management and multitasking skills to handle large account portfolio requests
- Intermediate analytical skills to understand corporate policies and procedures and resolve issues effectively
- Experience with supplier portals preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and experience in VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables
- Bilingual French/English
- We offer a Hybrid work schedule. You will be in the office Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week, and can work from home for the remainder of the week (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance)
