The Village of Aspen Lake in Windsor, Ontario, is seeking two dedicated Permanent Part-Time Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) to join our Long Term Care team.
Shift Details
Perm Part-Time, Days, 30 hours biweekly

Responsibilities
- Maintain registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Hold Heart Save Level CPR certification
- Prioritize tasks effectively, manage stress, and stay calm under pressure
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, respecting residents' quality of life
- Follow care plans and report changes in residents' well-being
- Understand relevant policies, legislation, and regulations, including the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021, and OSHA
- Support a resident-centered social culture and provide high-quality personal care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and advocate for residents
- Coordinate with physicians and update care plans using current systems
- Understand the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of the RPN role
- Align with organizational values and the Customer Experience Credo
Preferred Qualifications
- MDS credentials
- Experience working with residents with Dementia
- Knowledge of palliative assessments and end-of-life support
- Familiarity with policies, procedures, and regulations in long-term care
