1. Provides nursing care to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
2. Enhances quality of life for patients and families through consultation, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
3. Maintains and advances own clinical competence.
4. Participates in hospital committees, teams, and approved research projects as assigned.

This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.

Work shifts include days and nights, with shift times of 07:30 to 19:45 and 19:30 to 07:45.

Kelowna General Hospital’s (KGH) Multi-System ICU has 19 patient care beds. RNs work 11.25-hour shifts, with 14 nurses on day shifts and 13 on night shifts.

The department offers an excellent environment for Critical Care nursing, requiring strong clinical and communication skills, professionalism, and teamwork.
