Shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Wage: $17.50/hour

• Accurately pick customer orders using an RF gun and place items into boxes with a cart or hand jack.
• Verify that the correct products are picked to meet customer order requirements.
• Follow specific packing, labeling, and staging instructions as per customer requests.
• Audit and adjust inventory as needed.
• Report inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
• Meet KPIs while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
• Keep the work area organized and dispose of trash and packaging materials regularly.
• Follow all security SOPs to protect warehouse and product security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Follow Occupational Health and Safety Act, including laws related to safety, violence, and harassment.
• Work safely according to Metro’s policies and procedures.
• Wear protective equipment at all times.
• Report hazards to your supervisor.
• Operate equipment safely to avoid endangering yourself or others.
• Avoid actions that could put coworkers at risk.

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably as an order selector.
• Experience with RF scanners is an asset.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to sit, stand, lift, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to follow directions accurately.
• Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good mathematical skills.
