Construction Manager: DfMA & Lean Building Projects
Job summary
A construction firm in Alberta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee site operations and project execution. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to quality and EHS standards. The ideal candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in building projects. The role promotes collaboration and innovative construction methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and/or site management for building projects.
- Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
- Experience with precast and DfMA technologies preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Project Manager on project start-up and execution plan.
- Manage resource allocation and overall site operations throughout construction.
- Oversee procurement processes and timely delivery of materials and logistics.
- Monitor subcontractor progress and scheduling for timely completion.
- Liaise with clients and consultants on project-related matters.
- Establish reporting and control procedures to optimize operations.
- Implement innovative construction methodologies and solutions.
