Intelcom is seeking an Operations Business Analyst to support the Operations team with new and ongoing projects and system improvements. Reporting to the Director of Operational & Technology Platforms, the ideal candidate should possess strong business analysis skills, excellent communication abilities, and robust project and time management skills. A solid background in supply chain and logistics is essential, including knowledge of TMS, WMS, last mile and middle mile logistics, sorting and automation, and mobile and web applications, as well as a deep understanding of hubs and distribution centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee systems and processes supporting Intelcom’s first mile, middle mile, sorting, automation, and BI reporting processes.
- Lead the selection and design of products to improve logistics and automation processes, identifying problems that can benefit from technological solutions.
- Document and understand the current state ('as-is') of systems or processes to maintain strong solution knowledge.
- Identify opportunities, gaps, and improvements based on logistics industry standards.
- Communicate requirements effectively to Product Owners and document business requirements through BRDs or business cases.
- Complete project RACI matrices and participate in creating and validating Project Charters.
- Ensure stakeholder requirements are defined, modeled, and validated.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies as a business owner alongside IT and Product owners.
- Validate and sign off on solution designs with SMEs from OPS.
- Prioritize and mitigate project risks.
- Create project plans and define tasks for Operations teams.
- Participate in end-to-end UAT sessions and validate new processes prior to deployment.
- Assist in change management, including SOP creation, training, and rollout planning.
- Support the initial deployment and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Certification in Business Analysis, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, Business Technology Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills with the ability to make independent decisions.
- Motivated learner with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, able to prioritize effectively.
- Analytical mindset with system thinking capabilities.
- Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with workshop facilitation experience in English and French.
