A logistics company in the Peel Region is seeking a logistics support team member to transport automotive parts between areas. Qualifications

  • Availability: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.

Job description

Reports to: Logistics Manager/Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Parts and Material Transportation:
    • Transport automotive parts, tools, and materials between production areas and storage areas.
    • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
  2. Material Handling and Equipment Use:
    • Load and unload materials onto vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  3. Inventory and Documentation:
    • Verify part counts, labels, and quality during pick‑up and delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records of parts and materials movement in tracking systems.
  4. Communication and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to prioritize tasks.
    • Respond to urgent requests for parts and materials delivery as required.
  5. Support Production Goals:
    • Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure easy access to materials.
    • Provide general support to production and logistics teams as needed, including overtime shifts.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License: Minimum of a G2 Driver's License (valid in Ontario).
