A Community Care Organization in Ontario is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide essential personal support and homemaking services to clients. The role includes evaluating care needs, developing care plans, and assisting clients with daily activities like meal preparation and personal hygiene. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma and relevant certifications. Strong communication skills and experience with elderly or ill individuals are essential. Flexible working hours may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required.
  • CCA Certification is required in Nova Scotia.
  • Some household management and experience with elderly or ill individuals is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal support and homemaking services to clients and families.
  • Collaborate with the health care team to meet clients' needs.
  • Implement care plans and update them under the supervisor's guidance.
