A leading support organization is seeking a Quality and Involvement Supporter to help assess the quality of care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism. This home-based role involves partnering with Experts by Experience and conducting assessments to ensure person-centered care. Candidates should have strong advocacy skills and relevant qualifications. The position offers flexibility in working hours.
Job Title: Quality and Involvement Supporter (Thera East Anglia)
Location: Home-based in Cambridgeshire or surrounding areas with Travel
Contract: Relief, as and when required with a flexible approach to working hours and days
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Driving Requirement: Must hold a full UK driving licence with the ability to drive for work
About Us: The Quality & Involvement Team at Thera Trust are a peer led quality checking service, who provide vital feedback about the quality of care and support that people with learning disabilities and/or autism receive.
Using your experience of providing high-quality support, as a Quality and Involvement Supporter, you will work alongside the Expert by Experience to ensure they can carry out their roles to their full potential. Having received support themselves, our Experts by Experience use their own lived experience of a learning disability and/or autism, to gathering insights from others receiving support. Thus, helping ensure that people’s care is person-centred and meaningful.
This is a rewarding role for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism.
You will play an essential part in shaping the quality of care and ensuring that people’s voices are heard. With a flexible approach to work and the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team, this is an ideal role for someone with a strong sense of advocacy, empathy, and organisational skills.
