Remote Inclusive Education Teacher (BC) - IEP Lead

A Christian educational organization is looking for Inclusive Education Teachers certified to teach in BC for the 2025/26 school year. This role is primarily remote, with teachers expected to lead the development of Individual Education Plans and collaborate with families to support diverse learners. The position offers flexibility between full-time and part-time work, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in students' educational journeys.

- Previous experience in Inclusive Education, Learning Support, or working with a diverse group of students is an asset.
- Ability to build relationships and work relationally with students, parents, the coordinator, and other team members.
- Flexible attitude towards adapting to students and situation.
Aufgaben
- Lead co-creation of the student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) with the IEP team.
- Direct and/or coordinate the IEP team throughout the year.
- Draft a student budget proposal based on the IEP.
- Connect with the student & primary home educator a minimum of four times a year.
- Gather evidence of progress towards IEP goals.
- Evaluate and report progress within the IEP.
