Job summary
A leading Canadian insurance provider is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to enhance their claims process for residential property claims. This role involves negotiating and settling claims while providing exceptional service to policyholders. With over 5 years of adjusting experience required, candidates should possess strong negotiation skills and an understanding of building construction. - Minimum 5 years of full-handle desk adjusting experience handling personal property claims.
- Experience managing total loss fire and other complex claims.
- Litigative experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, analyze, negotiate, and settle residential property claims.
- Review policy wordings and acts to determine coverage and liability.
- Maintain communication and status updates to customers until file closure.
