Position: Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a remote position with the option for in-person attendance at a TELUS Health office, if available in your area.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Functional Leads, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, or Developers to understand testing scope.
• Analyze technical documents to identify high-level test scenarios.
• Develop positive and negative test cases using structured testing techniques.
• Create manual test scripts by identifying expected results and test data.
• Maintain the test suite, updating it based on new or changed functionalities.
• Prioritize test execution based on test case priority.
• Execute manual test scripts, document results, and report defects.
• Follow up on defect resolutions within established timeframes.
• Report testing progress to QA Leads and escalate major risks.
• Perform all QA tasks according to standards and procedures.
• Manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience with automation is an asset.
• Knowledge of JavaScript is an asset.
• Ability to understand client requirements from a testing perspective.
• Structured problem-solving approach using concepts and data.
• Effective, clear, and adaptable communication with stakeholders.
• Empathy for user needs and perspectives.
• Commitment to quality and openness to suggestions.
• Curious, disciplined, and creative mindset.
• Detail-oriented and analytical skills.
• Ownership and accountability in delivering tasks.
