Job summary
A global engineering firm in Canada is looking for a Principal Administrative Assistant who will provide solutions to atypical problems and support senior management with heavy calendar management, arranging travel, and handling general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has strong Microsoft Office skills, 5+ years of relevant experience, and excellent organizational abilities. This role requires independence, effective communication, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an administrative assistant role, preferably in a large corporation.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, and write correspondence and memos.
- Prior law firm or corporate legal department experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for heavy calendar management and coordinating complex meetings.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects while following through on issues.
- Arrange domestic and international travel schedules and reservations.
