As a Requirements Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale rail infrastructure projects. You’ll lead requirements management activities across the full project lifecycle in line with ISO/IEC 15288 practices.

What you can expect to do here:
  • Capture client needs through development of user, stakeholder, operational, system, and subsystem requirements.

  • Develop and implement the Requirements Management Approach, plans, and processes.

  • Design and manage requirements databases using industry‑standard tools (e.g., IBM DOORS Next Generation).

  • Maintain requirements baselines throughout the project lifecycle, including change control.

  • Ensure verification and validation of requirements, linking them to tests and results.

  • Provide training and support for requirements tools and processes.

  • Collaborate with configuration and change management teams to maintain systematic documentation and KPIs.

What you’ll bring to WSP:
  • Degree in engineering or related discipline.

  • 10+ years in the rail transit industry, including minimum 3 years in requirements engineering or administration.

  • Proficient with IBM DOORS NG (administrator level).

  • Understanding of requirements management principles, V‑model lifecycle, and change control.

  • Exposure to construction and T&C activities.

  • Knowledge of RAMS, Human Factors, and Systems Integration processes.

  • Basic understanding of MBSE practices.

  • Licensed P.Eng. in Ontario.

  • INCOSE Certification is preferred.
