Job summary

A leading packaging company in Metro Vancouver is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their team. This role involves providing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for plant equipment, including various machines. The ideal candidate will have an Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as an Electrician, with at least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of PLC software, and the ability to work independently. Qualifications

  • Able to design electrical systems and repair electrical equipment.
  • Plastics Industry Experience is an asset.
  • Fall Protection and Confined Space Course (Will train).

Responsibilities

  • Design and install control circuits, troubleshoot and repair various machines.
  • Perform maintenance on buildings and facilities.
  • Provide on-call duties when necessary.

Skills

Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as an Electrician
Knowledge of PLC software

Ability to work 8-hour rotating shifts
