A luxury resort in Alberta is seeking a maintenance foreperson to lead the team in maintaining HVAC and mechanical systems across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will have a Red Seal HVAC Technician certification, strong leadership skills, and significant technical knowledge. The maintenance foreperson plays a key leadership role within the Jasper Lodging maintenance team, responsible for the performance, maintenance, and reliability of all mechanical, HVAC, gas, and building envelope systems across multiple resort hotel properties and guest attractions. Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the maintenance foreperson will oversee critical infrastructure systems, supports capital projects, and lead the maintenance operations to ensure all facilities are safe, efficient, and maintained to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will be a Red Seal HVAC Technician with a Class A Gasfitter license (we are open to any other RED SEAL tickets), demonstrating deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate across complex, multi-property environments.

You’ll work in a dynamic, culturally diverse team, with opportunities for on-site experiences and living in staff accommodation where available. The role involves outdoor and physical work in a remote, forested setting, including walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
