Role Overview

Reporting to our Chief Legal & Administrative Officer, this key role offers an opportunity to lead our information and operational systems and services. As Vice President, IT / OT, you will drive excellence in end-user support, infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity, enterprise business applications, project management, and Operational Technology, while leading our digital transformation journey. You will manage and implement the strategic roadmap for IT / OT, ensuring technology aligns with Northland’s strategy. Collaborating with the executive team, you will set priorities, allocate resources, and lead a team of technical professionals supporting our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with Northland’s goals.
• Lead and inspire a global team of technical professionals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, modernize operational data systems, and streamline finance and ERP processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
• Stay informed of technological developments and industry trends; identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve operations and support strategic goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• 15+ years of technology experience, with at least 8 years in leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and execute IT / OT strategy in a complex, global environment.
• Experience managing critical OT infrastructure.
• Global experience, especially with European jurisdictions, preferred.
• Knowledge of NIST, NERC, GDPR, and ISO standards preferred.
• Track record of leading digital transformation and ERP implementation.
• Experience engaging with Boards and understanding governance standards.
• Experience in M&A and integrating technology and operations.
