Location: Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid)

A global leader in consumer goods is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to play a critical role in supporting its Canadian operations. This position will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and International Finance groups to strengthen profitability, oversee financial performance, and provide actionable insights that influence key business decisions.

What You’ll Do
  • Take ownership of the Canadian P&L through to EBIT, ensuring strong delivery of financial outcomes.
  • Oversee core finance cycles, including month-end close, forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term planning.
  • Act as a trusted partner to cross-functional and international teams on financial forecasting, planning, and profit tracking.
  • Provide market analysis covering share, volume, and category trends to guide business strategy.
  • Deliver regular reporting packages and commentary for senior leadership.
  • Offer deep profitability insights by customer, brand, SKU, and region to support commercial execution.
  • Contribute to pricing reviews and support margin-enhancing strategies.
  • Collaborate with international finance teams to align Canadian performance with global objectives.
  • Support preparation of key presentations for quarterly and annual reviews.
What We’re Looking For
  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in commercial finance or business partnering, ideally within a complex, multinational organization.
  • Demonstrated success working with commercial teams to shape business outcomes.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with an analytical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Skilled at simplifying complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
