Your role and responsibilities
The Client Growth Leader for public sector Salesforce is responsible for driving sales of IBM Consulting solutions that capitalize on our distinctive and differentiated assets, offerings, and solutions across our hybrid cloud, business transformation, and cybersecurity growth platforms. This role requires proven consulting and services experience with the Salesforce platform technology, a track record of strong consulting delivery experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in business development and public sector pursuits is an asset.
Responsibilities:
· Create, cultivate, and close deals with new and existing clients in the public sector
· Driving new business growth by generating net new business opportunities and acquiring new clients.
· Build and nurturing relationships with potential clients and identifying opportunities that align with the IBM strategic offerings and the Salesforce platform
· Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share goals
· Coordinate deal pursuits within the Market, including proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiation
· Manage a pursuit team as needed in progressing a deal through the sales process
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
· Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, solutioning, quality, and delivery to ensure that the client needs will be met

Salesforce solutioning and delivery expertise (Client facing)
Experience with Strategic Partners such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc…
Experience with selling, preparing and delivering sales presentations to clients.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Experience working within the IBM Consulting organization or a similar global consulting experience.
Familiarity with IBM Consulting services offerings and industry trends.
Experience working on deals and working with cross-functional team.
Public Sector specialization would be a plus.
Salesforce certifications, as well as certifications with strategic cloud partners (AWS, Azure, Red Hat, etc.)
