Pearson College UWC is recruiting for a Director of Climate Action Leadership Diploma.

Position Summary:
The Director of the Climate Action Leadership Program applies a vision and purpose in developing and implementing Pearson College UWC’scompelling, globally and locally resonant vision for educating students leaders. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of the program design, development and implementation for the Climate Action Leadership Diploma (CALD) and is responsible for the overall student experience in the program. Utilizing the IB Career-Related Program as its base, the Climate Action Leadership Diploma empowers our diverse cohort of student at a pivotal moment in their lives to find their place, power, and purpose as they explore “seeing” the world through Indigenous and non-Indigenous lenses.
This role will support students and faculty by teaching and providing pedagogical leadership in the program implementation and evaluation. In addition, the Director of the Climate Action Leadership Program will workclosely with the Education Leadership Team, Director of Admissions, and the Advancement and External Relations team to communicate the goals and outcomes of the program to broaden its impact and reach both internally and externally.

This is a full-time, 3-year fixed-term position, running from August 2025 to July 2028. The position is based at Pearson College UWC in Metchosin, British Columbia, approximately 40 minutes from downtown Victoria. Compensation for this position is based on qualifications, experience, and the current collective agreement salary scale, which ranges from $61,673.31 to $107,519.64.
