A Bachelor’s in Social Work and relevant experience is required. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on families' lives in a collaborative team environment.
Our client is an award‑winning, multi‑service, community unionised not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to supporting individuals, children and families. The organisation is committed to nurturing empowerment, independence and growth, working collaboratively as a multidisciplinary team with community partners to provide holistic programmes and support that respond to mental health, education and transitional needs. Their programmes are critical in the broader community to support families, young women and their children.
The Pod Group is partnering with this organisation to place an impactful and strategic leader to fulfil the role of the Social Worker (Maternal Infant Mental Health – MIHM).
The Social Worker – MIMH will engage pregnant and parenting young mothers in a variety of psychotherapeutic interventions with the goal to improve their ability to transition into parenthood and manage relationships with their children, family and friends while promoting growth in all life domains.

This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dedicated team making a real difference in the lives of children and their families. If you are a compassionate, motivated, and client‑focused professional looking for purpose‑driven work, we want to hear from you.
The success of an organisation stems from a team that is aligned with its mission and vision, where decisions are made in the best interests of the clients they serve and the marginalised and vulnerable populations across our communities. Through this effort, all team members embrace their roles in the organisation with respect and dignity for all stakeholders. Through these partnerships, everyone is focused on ensuring a commitment and responsibility toward anti‑racism, anti‑oppression, equity, diversity, inclusivity and belonging.
