Job summary
A caring household in Calgary, Alberta seeks a Home Child Care Provider to supervise and care for children. This role involves organizing activities, maintaining a safe environment, and preparing meals. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and CPR/First Aid certifications. Offering $20 CAD/hr for 35-40 hours a week. This is a full-time position with terms of employment as contract or term.

- Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
- Supervise and care for children
- Take children to and from school and to appointments
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Help children with homework
Work setting:
- Care for child in employer’s home (on-site)
Terms of Employment: Full-time; Term or contract
Employment Conditions: Day, Morning, Evening
Language of work: English
Wage: $20.00 CAD/HR
Hours: 35-40 hours/week
