Job summary

Community Sports Partners is seeking energetic and enthusiastic soccer coaches to lead training sessions for young children. Ideal candidates will have experience coaching children ages 2-14, exhibit strong communication skills, and have a passion for youth sports. This role offers flexible hours, with compensation ranging from CAD 18-23 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children ages 2-5 years and youth ages 6-14 years.
  • Preference for experienced soccer coaches for both toddler and youth.
  • Ability to work through Summer and Winter seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching soccer skills and games for young children for 2+ hours.
  • Engaging with children and delivering feedback to parents.
  • Working on weekday evenings and weekends.

Job description

CSP is one of the largest and fastest growing private youth sports operators in the GTA. We provide fun, engaging experiences, creating lasting memories for the youth and families in our communities! We're looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and kid-friendly soccer coaches to join our team and build our girls program!

We are currently hiring for soccer coaches who have experience working with children ages 2-5 years, and Youth Coaches who have experience working with ages 6-14 years girls soccer.

  • Passionate about working with and engaging young children is a must.
  • Availability on weekday evenings (between 4pm - 8pm) and/or weekends (between 9am - 12pm on Saturday/ Sunday).
  • Reliable and professional.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers.
  • Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parents.
  • High energy individual who is physically fit and able to coach soccer skills/games with young children for 2+ hours
  • Available to work through Summer and Winter seasons.

Ideal Experience:

  • Experience working with children ages 2 – 6 years.
  • Preference for experienced soccer coaches who are able to work with both Toddler and Youth ages
  • Experience with other types of young child sports organizations (SportBall, City Camps, Pedalheads, etc.) or soccer environments (Little Kickers, Timbits Soccer, House Leagues, etc.)
  • Coaching certification (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, etc.) is an asset
