Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Child and Youth Care or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in front line work including outreach services.
• Ability to provide high quality work while meeting deadlines within a demanding environment.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong sense of team, and capacity to build effective working relationships.
• Excellent de-escalation and conflict resolution skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Indigenous culture, history, trauma, and children's rights.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team.
• Organized with a strong focus on deliverables and meeting deadlines.
• Highly skilled in data collation and report generation.

Responsibilities

• Development, coordination and promotion of youth programs targeting at-risk youth.
• Engage with other youth services to plan strategies and share resources.
• Facilitate delivery of programs tailored to youth aspirations.
• Support ongoing operations of the Youth Hub.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Coordinate staff scheduling to meet operational needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with community partners.
