The shunter's main responsibility is moving trailers and trucks with waste and supplies out of the Stericycle/Shred it yard between terminals/warehouses/processing plants, organizing and processing material for shipment, storage, or destruction. The responsibilities include moving equipment and conducting daily inspections, and/are responsible for timely movements and thorough knowledge of on-hand inventory and positioning.
A Shunter is also expected to organize vehicles within a Stericycle yard to ensure they are ready for unloading, loading, and transport. The Stericycle yard is described as an enclosed property boundary that surrounds our buildings.
The shunter will perform standard PlantAssociate job duties as required. Assist with loading/unloading supplies. Organize warehouse
