Position : Woodworking Shop – Garden Builder

Garden Builders work under the direction of the Garden Manufacturing Manager to receive tasks at various workstations including: table saw, chop saw, shaper, router, planer, staining, sanding, and more. Our projects range from high end planters to custom wood projects.

Job Duties

• Fundamental carpentry tasks: Table saw, chop saw, planer, etc
• Sanding and preparing wood to be finished
• Staining and finishing
• The loading / unloading of trucks and trailers with gardens
• Stocking of components
• Sorting, packing, and boxing of materials and products
• Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
• Shop cleanup

Requirements

• Experience working with woodworking power tools
• Able to do heavy lifting
• Experience, interest, and knowledge in construction, carpentry, woodworking, gardening, landscaping, and food growing are a plus

Min. $22 per hour with ability to earn more based upon experience / skill set.
