Job Description
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements for layout.
  • Welding large and small components such as copper plumbing, beams and pipes.
  • Use specialized machines for industrial welding and monitor machines that do similar work.
  • Maintain and repair all machines.
  • Evaluate surfaces, structures, and components to be welded to identify defects.
  • Follow and enforce strict safety rules such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and protective shoes.
  • Monitor machinery for proper use and temperature. Solder flat, vertical and overhead components.
  • Inspect and inspect welded surfaces and structures for defects.
  • Store the device in a condition that does not compromise safety.
  • Repair machines and other parts by welding parts and filling gaps.
