Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living (e.g., personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
• Assist with ambulation and transfers
• Help with eating and dressing
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Perform housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, bed linens, laundry, and bathroom cleaning

• Medication reminders
• Assist with range‑of‑motion exercises
• Prepare and measure specialized diets
• Incontinence care

Qualifications and Skills

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
• One year of experience as a caregiver / Home Health Aide in homes or facilities
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile

Compensation

$13.00 – $15.00 per hour
