Job description
Scope of Work

The Contractor must:

  • Review existing English and French content, identify content for archiving and conduct a gap analysis;
  • Consult with members of senior management team and internal subject matter experts to gather updated and accurate content;
  • Develop a project workplan, including timelines.
  • Develop plain language bilingual content aligned with the Canada.ca Content Style Guide;
  • Recommend improvements to information architecture, layout and navigation for Adobe Experience Management based on the Canada.ca Design Specifications;
    • Ensure all content and outputs comply with: WCAG 2.1 AA (EN 301 549) accessibility standards,
    • ca Information Architecture and Content Style Guide,
    • ca Specifications
    • Web Experience Toolkit (WET) requirements,
    • The Official Languages Act;
    • Prepare and deliver a final bilingual content package, including all necessary metadata, alternative text, summaries and tagging;
    • Work with POLAR and Shared Services Canada (SSC) to prepare the content for publication;

Develop and provide reusable publication templates or components and a user guide to enable POLAR staff to manage and update the website after project completion.
