Job Details
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $60,000.00–$75,000.00 per year
  • Work Location: Hybrid remote in Guelph, ON
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Guelph, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
  • Salary range: $60,000–$75,000 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Design, create, and maintain an entire website alone or significantly contribute to the design, creation, and maintenance of large websites.
  • Review and support execution of project‑specific business requirements related to product development.
  • Support Project Delivery Manager in client meetings, communicating updates and recommendations to apply to websites.
  • Execute test cases on medium and large websites, properly documenting and reporting any bugs found.
  • Estimate how long it takes to complete fixes and enhancements within a solution.
  • Estimate task breakdowns during the scoping of small, medium, and large projects.
  • Communicate progress of task completion using the Sandbox Software Project Management Tool.
  • Identify gaps in site development and risks in the solution.
  • Understand and apply accessibility requirements to website solutions.
  • Write and debug code based on reading and understanding of provided requirements.
  • Ensure all code is checked in at the required frequency (i.e., when features are functional and complete).
  • Track and record time for all tasks, features, and revisions in the Sandbox Software Project Management Tool.
  • Ensure the first pass of quality assurance is completed as a developer before submitting code to peer review and formal QA process gates.
  • Assist and maintain code in the knowledge base for the organization.
