A leading scientific testing firm in Whitehorse seeks a Warehouse Lead Hand to support the Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities include overseeing storage, retrieval, and shipping of samples, ensuring safety compliance, and training new staff. Ideal candidates will possess a Grade 12 diploma, a valid driver's license, and a forklift license, alongside prior warehouse experience. The Warehouse Lead Hand provides support to the Warehouse Manager in the areas of storage, retrieval and shipping of pulp and rejects samples, oversees discard activities, provides strict control of sample movements, cleaning, and safety and ensures standard operating procedures are strictly followed in the performance of all the activities in the warehouse.
