Warehouse Manager

Location: Abbotsford, BC V3W 3A7. Employment type: Permanent, full time. Start date: As soon as possible. Hours: Flexible, mornings, afternoons, evenings.

Salary: $44.50 per hour. Weekly hours: 32.

Responsibilities
  • Identify customers’ needs.
  • Promote sales to existing clients.
  • Recommend products or services to customers.
  • Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services.
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services.
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Direct the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff.
  • Plan and manage the facility’s operations budget.
  • Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
  • Co‑ordinate work activities with other departments.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Location: On site. Work must be completed at the physical location.
