A leading security hardware distributor based in Halifax, NS, is seeking a full-time Warehouse / Customer Support staff member. The role involves shipping, receiving orders, organizing products, and maintaining customer relations. We are currently seeking candidates for a Full-Time Warehouse / Customer Support position to join our Halifax, NS team. Opportunities to grow within the company.

Responsibilities
  • Shipping/receiving orders and transfers
  • Stocking & organizing products
  • Assisting in regular stock counts
  • Executing daily branch functions for productions and warehouse. This includes but is not limited to the following: loading/unloading transport, arranging deliveries, customer pickups, picking orders, putting away stock, cleaning, etc.
  • Entering transactions into computer systems
  • Progressing into performing basic order entry, addressing product or service concerns, answering questions, and building customer relationships
  • Supporting and working with all other branch personnel
Qualifications
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills in English
  • Positive attitude and dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform repetitive tasks daily
  • Comfortable in a computerized environment
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as working in a cohesive team environment

Full-time position. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
