Job summary

A leading supply chain company in Winnipeg is seeking a Warehouse team member to manage product movement and ensure exceptional service. Responsibilities include safely operating equipment, tracking stock, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of warehouse experience and a high school diploma. This hourly position offers a pay of $20.32 with a Sunday-Thursday schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a Walkie/Powered Pallet Jack and Reach Truck.
• Must work in multi-temperature environments, cooler, freezer and dry.
• Able to get certified in Reach operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack.
• Post hire criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Safely move and track all inbound, outbound and stored products.
• Select product in accordance with customer orders and delivery sequence.
• Maintain orderly work station and contribute to the safety of the warehouse.
• Verify and scan proper location of products.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose: As a member of our Warehouse team you will take orders from request to reality, in an environment where you\'ll feel and create a culture of safety and family. You will safely move and track all inbound, outbound and stored products within the warehouse. This includes performing a number of tasks such as: offloading, stocking, selecting and replenishing products to ensure the warehouse is providing Core-Mark customers with exceptional service and quality.

• Selecting product in accordance with customer orders and delivery sequence.
• Consolidating merchandise into product containers and transferring to assigned stock locations.
• Directing extraneous inventory to storage area or dry room as applicable.
• Ensuring sufficient quantities of product to accommodate routine and/or special demands.
• Maintaining orderly work station; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Contributing to the safety and security and of the warehouse environment.
• Verifying and scanning proper location of products.
• Monitoring existing stock and transferring items where needed, dependent on circumstances.
• Separating larger units into pick quantities and shelving properly in pick areas.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Schedule & Pay

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 2:00pm start

Pay: $20.32 per hour

Required Qualifications

• Ability to operate a Walkie/Powered Pallet Jack and Reach Truck
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times.
• Must work in multi-temperature environments, cooler, freezer and dry
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Able to get certified in Reach operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Post hire criminal background check required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
