Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to join the EWSTeam in Vaughan, OH. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing any operational duties as required. Working areas include but are not limited to order picking, inventory replenishment, assisting within the receiving and returns departments as required. The Warehouse associate is responsible for working in the most safe, efficient and effective manner to ensure all performance targets are achieved daily. It is essential that the Warehouse Associate maintains an effective relationship with all team members.

What Will You Do?
Essential Position Functions
  • Responsible for efficiently and effectively performing the duties of a warehouse associate as described by the Distribution Team Leader
  • Maintains effective relationships with all other team members and staff
  • Pick orders via RF scanning device as directed while following the Distribution Centers SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Replenish Inventory via RF scanning device as directed while following the Distribution Centers SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Ensure escalation to Team Leader as required to ensure SOPs are followed
  • Required to work overtime as necessary to ensure customer commitments are met on a consistent basis

Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma - Mandatory
  • Completion of post-secondary education would be an asset
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a Distribution or Warehouse environment
  • Previous experience using RF scanning devices, WMS software/hardware
Skills/Competencies
  • Must be safety focused
  • Possess time management skills
  • Dependable and consistent
  • Must present strong English language communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong sense of urgency and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Possess demonstrates excellent teamwork skills*
  • Knowledge and ability to use Distribution related equipment, ie: manual pump truck
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be available for OT as require
