Role Overview: We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Manager (Volunteer) to help us grow our online presence and share our story with more families. This is a great opportunity if you’re passionate about education, STEM, or community impact and want to gain experience in social media strategy while supporting a cause that matters.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage a monthly content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Draft engaging posts, graphics, and stories that highlight our programs, instructors, students, and impact.
  • Suggest responses to comments/messages (to be approved before posting).
  • Monitor trends in education and STEM to share relevant and inspiring content.
  • Collaborate with our team to promote events, workshops, and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing social media (personal, professional, or volunteer).
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with a friendly, professional tone.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools is an asset.
  • Interest in education, Math, Coding, or Youth development.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
