Responsibilities
  • Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco and Mitel VoIP systems (e.g., Cisco CUCM, Mitel MiVoice Business, etc.).
  • Perform day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support of VoIP systems and related infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve voice quality issues, dropped calls, call routing problems, and other VoIP-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure VoIP systems integrate seamlessly with other IT systems.
  • Maintain and update VoIP documentation, including system configurations, call flows, and support procedures.
  • Implement and maintain dial plans, call routing, and VoIP policies.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patching, and migrations.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for VoIP issues escalated by helpdesk or end users.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of professional experience working with Cisco and Mitel VoIP systems.
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  • Mitel MiVoice Business and/or MiCollab.
  • SIP protocols, VoIP codecs, QoS, and trunking.
  • Experience with VoIP monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure and concepts such as VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and firewalls as they relate to VoIP.
