VFX project manager
We currently have an opening for an ambitious Project Manager in our Winnipeg branch. This full-time position offers tremendous growth opportunities, including diverse projects and potential for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for both major and minor projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and installation of materials, meeting customer specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams to foster a collaborative and solution-oriented environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures, ensuring quality and efficiency in project delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing project concerns, handling change orders, and troubleshooting issues.
- Adhere to and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all project sites.
- Assist in expanding the customer base by identifying new business opportunities and building a strong professional network.
- Lead and mentor teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Construction Technology, Architectural Technology, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project coordination and management.
- Strong understanding of Divisions 8, 28, and 10 scopes of work, including doors, frames, hardware, and access control systems.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, ERP systems).
- Certifications such as PMP, AHC, or DHI are an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
