This role involves leading a URD team, ensuring safety and efficiency in underground utility distribution construction. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction. Safety certifications are assets, along with a valid Alberta driver’s license. Based in Calgary, the URD Lead Hand is responsible for performing and leading general activities on year round underground URD distribution construction sites in Calgary and surrounding areas. They will liaise with tradespersons, coordinators, managers, and site superintendent personnel to accomplish project milestones in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
Construction Safety Certifications including the following are considered assets.
