Securiguard is currently looking for Upcoming/Seasonal Security Professionals to join our unit across Toronto & the GTA. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address security risks.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the building.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Be comfortable working within the interior & exterior of the premises/property & Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours.
• Working within a team environment and handling assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR.
• 1 year of security experience, preferably in a Healthcare, Mall/Retail, Campus, Gov't site, and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Having a Personal Vehicle & Valid Ontario Drivers License (G2/G) is an asset.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, ability to be calm under distress and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using security equipment and technology.
• Comfort with two-way radio communication/dispatch and/or CCTV software.
• Approaches situations with the mindset to de-escalate and/or situational awareness.
• Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment.

$18 to $23 per hour
