Do you have a strong attention to detail and accuracy with a passion for providing high quality administrative support? We’re looking for an organized and detail‑oriented Underwriting Administrator to join our fast‑paced, growing team!

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience
  • Level 1 General Insurance License or willing to obtain within 6 months
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office experience, with strong focus on Excel
  • Analytical with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Industry experience is an asset
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A Day in the Life
  • Gather and organize information provided by clients and insurers
  • Update monthly renewal spreadsheets with rates and deductibles
  • Assisting the team in completing daily, weekly, monthly and annual tasks as required in support of sales and underwriting efforts
  • Preparing pre‑renewals and updating rate sheets
  • Monitor shared inbox with requests from insurers
  • Working with the team to create automation and efficiencies in operational processes
  • Collating, analyzing, manipulating and interpreting data from various sources
  • Preparing scheduled and ad‑hoc reports
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid‑time‑off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
