Exciting Opportunity: Underground Electrician Bradshaw Mine, Timmins, ON

Dumas is a leading full-service underground mining contractor providing services to clients throughout the Americas. We specialize in mine construction, mine development, production mining, mine services and engineering.

Technical Competencies

• Thorough knowledge of all safety, health and environmental regulations as they pertain to the work and workplace.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Ability to install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber‑optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• Ability to test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Modules
• Ontario Hardrock Mining Supervisory Common Core or equivalent experience
• Electrical Red Seal Journeyman certification
• 5 years u/g electrical experience
• Outstanding safety record
