Job summary

A leading transportation equipment firm is seeking Heavy Equipment Technicians for their Nisku, AB location. The position involves performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers. Responsibilities include diagnosing repairs, completing CVIP inspections, and executing preventive maintenance services. This role offers flexibility with two shift schedules: 12 hours on/off or a standard 8-hour weekday shift. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical skills and experience in equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs required
• Repair, replace and adjust mechanical components
• Complete repairs on equipment, truck and trailer faults
• Conduct CVIP inspections
• Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
• Complete all necessary paperwork for Work Orders
• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services

We are currently seeking Heavy Equipment Technicians for our Nisku, AB location. This position will be responsible for performing mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs required
• Repair, replace and adjust mechanical components
• Complete repairs on equipment, truck and trailer faults
• Conduct CVIP inspections
• Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
• Complete all necessary paperwork for Work Orders
• Other mechanical repair work and duties as required
• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services

2 Shift Schedules Available

• 12 hour Shift: 7 days on 7 days off
• Monday to Friday: 8 hour shift
