Job summary

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 40 to 60 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have AZ class license and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
• Experience in driving and inspecting vehicles.
• Must pass a drug test and medical exam.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
