Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, demonstrate, and maintain CNC machines and laser systems. The role requires extensive travel nationally and internationally, requiring strong electrical and computer systems experience. Candidates should have a technical school degree and hands-on experience with automation or mechatronics. The position is based in Canada, preferably near Calgary or Edmonton.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in technical service, field service, repair or customer service required.
• Previous experience with robotics, lasers, automation systems or mechatronics.
• Experience in computer software/file management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair TRUMPF equipment with high quality.
• Demonstrate and train customers in the use and repair of TRUMPF machines.
• Travel up to 100% for customer visits and training.
