Your Key Responsibilities
  • Assist engineers in the preparation of highway and roadway designs, quantity takeoffs, and drawings for a variety of transportation design engineering projects.
  • Computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, and quantity take-offs.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Self‑motivated individual with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of general civil design concepts in relevant areas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D would be considered an asset.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Education and Experience

Must be currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technology and/or Engineer Design and Drafting program.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
